Those of you who aren't able to make it to a Stand Up event - don't despair. This year for the very first time, you can Stand Up Online without leaving the comfort of your own home. Simply click on the red box (widget) and enter your name and email and you will be counted towards the Guinness World Record attempt. While you're at it, make sure to share it with your friends on your facebook page or through email.

But wait, there's more... if you follow the steps below, you can create your own virtual stand up event on your blog or website and spread the word even further.

• Visit Stand Against Poverty - http://standagainstpoverty.org/event-center and choose "Register an Event".
• Make sure to check the "Online Event" box in Step 1 of the Event registration process
• At the end of the registration process, copy the code for the widget and paste it on your site.
