From 21-24 August, the largest Canadian grassroots anti-poverty movement will come together for the People’s Social Forum in Ottawa. Each day is packed with exciting events such as workshops, exhibitions and musical performances, all starting with the opening march from Victoria Island to Parliament Hill on Aug 21st.

How can I get involved in Ottawa?

  • Join us for the opening march on Thursday 21 August. We’ll meet at 2:30pm at the steps of the Library and Archives Canada (395 Wellington St, Ottawa) and walk to Victoria Island together.
  • Attend workshops organized by our steering committee members
  • Visit the Make Poverty History table at the University of Ottawa
