57 million children worldwide are being left behind

Right now, 57 million primary school-aged children around the world are not in school. Join Malala in calling on the Canadian Government to make a commitment to ensure every child has the right to attend school.

“Education is the best weapon we have to fight poverty, ignorance and terrorism.”
Malala Yousafzai

In October 2012, Malala survived a gunshot to the head by the Pakistani Taliban. She was targeted because she promoted girls’ right to attend school. Since her recovery, Malala has worked tirelessly to promote education for all and has joined forces with the Global Partnership for Education — a global organization working to develop education systems in fragile/conflict affected states.

It is time to call on Canada to stand up for education rights and make a pledge to the Global Partnership for Education. Your support is needed this month to ensure Canada keeps its promise to help educate the world’s children.

Education is essential in breaking the cycle of poverty. Lend your voice in support today!

Thank you for your continued support in making poverty history!

In solidarity,
