More ways to take action

More ways to take action...

Once you have signed on to the campaign and sent a message to your federal representative, you can help make poverty history by doing the following:

9. Meet with your MP

Most Members of Parliament are happy to meet with their constituents and listen to what they have to say. You can find your MP and the contact information for their constituency office here.  Give their office a call and set up a meeting.

Download the Make Poverty History Member of Parliament Advocacy Kit here and find out how you can do more than just send an email.

10. Put a banner or a badge on your website or blog

Spreading the word and letting people know you support the Make Poverty History campaign is a great way to take action. >

11. Send a message to a friend

Near the bottom of each page on this site is a link to send that page to a friend [it looks like this: email this page icon] we encourage you to send along anything that you find interesting.

12. Share stories

If you are involved in events or your local Make Poverty History group, one of the best ways to encourage others to get involved is to share your story on this website.
